Welcome to Warsaw Bands, where passion, tradition, and excellence in music come together!  As part of Warsaw Community High School, Lakeview Middle School, and Edgewood Middle School, our program is dedicated to developing talented musicians, fostering teamwork, and creating unforgettable experiences.

From marching band and jazz band to winter percussion and concert ensembles, Warsaw Bands provides students with award-winning opportunities to perform, compete, and grow. Whether you’re a middle school student looking to continue your musical journey or a parent wanting to get involved, there’s a place for you in the Warsaw Band family!

Band Classes/Ensembles

  • A competitive, high-energy ensemble that performs at ISSMA Scholastic A events.

  • Wind Ensemble & Concert Band provide a strong foundation in concert performance.

  • Open to all instruments, performs at Winter Showcase, ISSMA Jazz, elementary schools, and the Spring Awards Concert.

  • A dynamic mix of dance and choreography, competing in IHSCGA Regional A Class.

  •  A state recognized indoor percussion ensemble, consistently placing in the Top 5 at IPA Concert Class Finals since its inception.

How High School Band Works

  • Band is a year-long experience that includes concert band, marching band, and pep band.

  • Semester 1 : Instrument-specific classes (Woodwind Class, Brass Class, Percussion Ensemble 1).

    Semester 2: Students placed into Concert Band or Wind Ensemble, with percussion in Percussion Ensemble 2.

  • Meets after school (8th period) from 3:20–4:10 PM, Monday–Thursday, during second semester.

  • Students in fall sports are excused from marching band.
