WARSAW, IN - The holiday season is officially here, and the Warsaw Performing Arts Center is excited to welcome the community to five festive events highlighting the incredible talent of Warsaw Community Schools students. From music and dance to family fun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this December.

 

Holiday Orchestra Concert – December 9 • 7:00 PM

Join us for an evening of outstanding student musicianship at the Warsaw Community Schools Orchestra Holiday Concert. Performances will include the 6th Grade Orchestra, Edgewood and Lakeview Orchestras, Obbligato String Orchestra, and the Philharmonic Orchestra. This free event is open to the public and offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season while supporting these dedicated student performers.

 

Holiday Band Concert – December 11 • 7:00 PM

Enjoy a festive night of music at the WCHS Band’s Annual Holiday Concert. The evening begins with the Percussion Ensemble sharing their rendition of Carol of the Bells followed by the Concert Band performing three seasonal pieces. Admission is free and free-will donations will support the Band Department.

 

Winter Dance Showcase – December 12 • 7:30 PM

Experience a high-energy night of dance at the annual Winter Dance Showcase featuring WCHS Dance students. Performances will include contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and more. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased online at Click on warsawschools.org/pac, by calling the Box Office at 574-371-5040, or at the door. Proceeds directly support the Dance Department including costumes, shoes, and production needs.

 

Cookies & Cocoa with Santa – December 13 • 10:00 AM–1:00 PM

Kick off the season with the WCHS Theatre Department’s Cookies & Cocoa with Santa. Families will enjoy crafts, holiday treats, and sing-alongs with Elsa, Anna, and other favorite Disney characters. Tickets are $8 per person or $20 per family and available online, by phone, or at the door.

 

Holiday Choral Concert – December 16 • 7:00 PM

The WCHS Choral Department will present its Annual Holiday Concert featuring high school choirs along with Edgewood, Lakeview, and Leesburg choirs. The evening will include a combined performance of Silent Night with sign language interpretation. This free event is a beautiful way to experience the spirit of the season through music.
