WARSAW, IN - Warsaw Community High School senior Rick Orr has been named a 2025 Indiana Regional Academic All-Star by the Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP). He was honored at the Indiana Academic All-Star Luncheon on Thursday, April 24, at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis.

Now in its 39th year, the Indiana Academic All-Star program celebrates high school seniors who excel in the classroom, demonstrate leadership and actively engage in service to their schools and communities. Each accredited Indiana high school was able to nominate one senior for consideration. Nominees were evaluated on:

• Rigor of academic coursework (AP, Dual Credit, ACP classes)

• GPA and college entrance exam scores

• Participation in academic and non-academic extracurriculars

• Leadership and service to the community

In addition to this prestigious honor, Rick has accepted an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

WCS proudly congratulates Rick on this outstanding achievement and thanks him for his future service to our country.
