The WCHS Performing Arts Department just completed a festive season of events this December. Starting with the Theatre Department’s performance of “Rainbow Fish” to over 1,000 elementary school students, last night finished the month with a concert performed by the WCHS Dance Department (featuring over 70 elementary school performers from three WCS schools).
This December also included wonderful performances with the Orchestra, Choral, and Band departments - showcasing both the hard work and passion of the directors and students.
The performing arts department also puts on an annual Holiday PAC Gala, and this year was a great success. Over 150 students from all of the departments participated in a collaborative afternoon; two combined pieces included all student performers.
The directors include Mark Ziegler and David Knouse (Band), Josh Hren (Choral), Grace Hedington (Dance), Angela Dieleman (Orchestra), and Melany Morris (Theatre). We all thank you for your support for the arts this holiday season!
