Mrs. Smeltzer, her student teacher Ms. Marhefka, and Mrs. Dawson created a wonderful experience for their Algebra I students. This Escape Room allowed students to work together in groups, solve problems that require collaborative efforts to acquire correct solutions, and competitively challenge other student groups. Students displayed a lot of joy and determination during this activity.
