The WCHS Dance Department invites you to join us for our Spring Dance Concert at 7:00pm on Thursday, May 18 at the Warsaw Performing Arts Center.
Support friends and family in the WCHS Dance Department as they perform in a variety of styles, including: tap, modern, jazz, and lyrical; concluding with a special presentation of Jerome Robbins’ original choreography from West Side Story.
Free will donations will be accepted for the dance department. All donations go to the dance program for the purchase of costumes, shoes, and free dance opportunities for future WCS students.
A Note from Michael Pacholski:
Michael Pacholski is the guest dance instructor this semester at WCHS. He has been a season regular at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts (you may remember him as Uncle Fester in Addams Family, The Lion in The Wizard of Oz, or as Jud Fry in Oklahoma). He has his degree in Musical Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University.
I am overly grateful to have had the opportunity to teach the students at WCHS this semester. I grew up in a competitive dance program, and loved dancing so much that I made it a part of my career. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching my students what I know, and it is remarkable how much work they have put into making this concert what it is: a celebration of dance, music, and the willingness to learn and grow. I am so proud of each and every one of my kids, and can’t wait to watch them shine in front of an audience.
