Drama Club Auditions are today right after school for Snow White! If you are interested and are not able to make it because of sports or other reasons you need to email, Mr. J Davis. You are still able to audition via video but will need to send it in before Monday next week. If you are planning on coming to auditions they are in the theater right after school till 4.

See You at the Pole is an international student day of prayer, and it is taking place this year on Wednesday, September 22. We will meet at the flagpole in front of the school at 7:00 A.M. to pray for our school, our city, our state, our country, and our world! After our prayer time, we will meet in Mr. Sisson's room for juice and donuts. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Boggs. We hope to see you there!

Open Library starts on Wednesday, September 22nd! Come to the Media Center after school from 3:00-4:00 for a time to hang out in the Media Center with friends doing makerspace, coloring, Legos, games, and other fun activities! The featured makerspace activity will be block string art. See you then!

Lakeview 8th grade volleyball beat Wawasee 25-18, 25-3

Lilly Henderson had 4 ace, 1 kill, 4 assists

Kasiahh Chupp 3 aces, 2 kills

The Lakeview 7th grade volleyball team fell to visiting Wawasee on Thursday by the scores of 25-20, 25-15.  Ayla Hatfield recorded 4 aces and 2 kills for the Tigers while Payton Cardwell had 2 aces and 3 kills.  Malia Schrader chipped in with 1 ace and 2 kills.

 

The 8th Grade Football team had a great defensive effort in a 6-0 conference win sealing the conference regular season championship. We had to overcome our own problems on offense but the guys battled to finish the conference undefeated.

The 7th Grade Football team traveled to Milford to play Wawasee and came away with a 36-0 win. The Tigers scored on the opening kickoff with a return of 65 yds by Mike Schenck. Mike Schenck then scored on a 45 yd run. Cam Bause scored on a 40 yd run for a TD. Matt Flores scored on a 25 yd run for a TD making the half time score 28-0. The Tigers then scored in the fourth quarter on a 4yd run by Andrew Robertson and Zack Wright scored on a 3yd run for a 2pt extra point. The Tigers defensive line played an outstanding game keeping the Warriors off the scoreboard. The Tigers offensive line led the way opening big holes for the backs to run through. It was a team victory. The Tigers record is now 2-2 on the season.
