PBIS

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based framework for improving and integrating all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes every day. It is a way to support everyone as Lakeview creates learning experiences where ALL students are successful.

The “Big Three” at Lakeview are Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe. Students receive training on what these three look like in every facet of our school day. When students exhibit respectful, responsible, and/or safe behaviors, teachers may turn in a Positive Prop. Positive Props are handed out to students in Homeroom and are emailed home to parents. Weekly drawings for PBIS incentives are conducted as an extra reward for students doing the right thing!
