Washington STEM Academy is excited to introduce Ms. Abigail Glass as she joins our 6th grade team with Mrs. Nicole Ryman and Ms. Emily Bailey for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year! Ms. Glass was born and raised in Warsaw and is a former Washington Hornet herself. She graduated from Bethel University this past May with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education.
Ms. Glass has always enjoyed working with children. As she states, "From a young age I was inspired by my teachers and knew I wanted to work with kids." During her junior year of high school at Warsaw, Ms. Glass was able to serve at Washington as a student intern. Ms. Glass describes that experience of being in the classroom and working with students as the moment she knew teaching was for her.
When asked about what she is most excited about with her new position, Ms. Glass shared, "I am most excited to come back to Washington in my new role as a teacher and build relationships with students like my teachers did for me when I was a student. I hope to bring excitement and joy into learning!"
