Jefferson students previewed and "browsed" the Follett Book eFair this week. Only a little excitement was lost on not being able to physically see, touch, and purchase books on the spot. Otherwise, there was a lot of squealing, alongside comments of "I want THIS book!"
Jefferson Grown-Ups—your help is requested! Would you consider sitting down with your Spartans to shop/browse together? It can be a fun time to hear of their interests and to see what sparks their imaginations. If you have reluctant readers, maybe this is an opportunity to help him/her find a new favorite book! (Books make GREAT gifts—the holidays are right around the corner!)
An additional opportunity is available in the Teacher Wish Lists. Check to see if your child's classroom teacher has created a list of books s/he'd love to add to their own classroom library. Buying a book from the list is a great way to say "THANK YOU!" to your child's teacher (or any other teacher at Jefferson).
All purchased books will be delivered to the school after the eFair closes on November 29th. If you would like these to be gifts for your child, let Mrs. Propp know <dpropp@warsawschools.org>, and she will work it out with you. Otherwise, book purchases will be sent home with students.
