Lunch Menu choices are Pulled Pork Street Tacos or Yogurt Meal, Cole Slaw, Steamed Corn, Sliced Red Apple, Blueberry, and Milk.
Today’s Wrestling practice will begin at 3:15p.
A reminder to students on Edgewood’s Dress Code- we will permit holes in the jeans that are fingertip length and below. If holes are above this, tights can be worn under the jeans so no skin shows. No midriff shirts showing any skin are allowed. Under garments should not be visible. Students wearing leggings must wear a long enough shirt that covers their front and back side to be fingertip length. All skirts and shorts are to be fingertip length. Students who violate the foregoing rules will not be admitted to class and should be sent to the front office. This will be addressed by all teachers and the administrative staff. These rules are in place so that we are demonstrating modesty as well as keeping the focus on the academic success for all students. Anything that is distracting to the educational environment is not appropriate attire for Edgewood Middle School.
Pedestrians are reminded to use the pedestrian pathways only when walking to and from the high school and/or central office. We have a crossing guard on duty and all students walking need to only cross this busy roadway at the designated crossing pathway.
Students are also reminded that any ride home needs to go through our parent pick up line. We have some students catching rides home from the high school parking lot and the lot by the soccer fields. Once again, it is not safe for students to cross these busy roadways. Additional staff will be in place to prevent continued use of these areas for student pick up.
