Robotics Tournament

On Friday, April 21, five EMS robotics teams competed in the 10th annual Warsaw Robotics Exhibition Tournament. The challenge this year was Hoopla. Robots had to pick up rings from the ring containment rack and had to place them on their respective goal. Red rings were worth 5 points and the rest of the rings were worth 1 point.  The teams competed in 5 qualifying rounds to determine their tournament ranking. Team Rice and Beans from EMS, Mateo Perez and Jayden McGinnis, were ranked 2nd from the qualifying matches. They were chosen by the 1st ranked team. Together they formed an alliance to dominate the semi finals and finals rounds. Congratulations, Mateo and Jayden!
