The Claypool Student Council lived out the Empathy Pillar of Warsaw Community Schools’ Strategic Plan as they collected food to donate to the Silver Lake Food Pantry. The Student Council declared the week of November 14, as the Claypool School Food Drive. Each day during the week, there was a theme for students to dress up and to bring foods that “matched” the theme. Our school of 300 students collected over 2,000 cans of food. The Silver Lake Food Pantry was very thankful for the donation. The families of the Claypool School are very thankful for the work of the Food Pantry and their dedication to help so many in need.
Dr. Hoffert and friends continued the tradition today of giving WCS bus drivers a pie to remind everyone how much they are appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving!
