On December 10, I received an email from the Educational Theatre Association announcing that they are increasing costs across the board for Inductions and Events. This includes ITF. Unfortunately they decided to raise the cost from $999 per student to $1299. This is an additional $300. Click here to see a breakdown. Warsaw Theatre still plans to cover $249 per student, making your student's cost $1050. If you are ready to submit that first deposit ($250) you can have your student drop it off to me tomorrow or you can pay ​here on Parent Square.

Event fees will adjust due to increased venue, housing, and meal costs. Full event pricing is published on the individual International Thespian Festival and Theatre Education Conference event websites.

 

Committed Support Through the Educational Theatre Foundation

Beginning January 2026, ETF will expand financial assistance through:

• Thespian Growth & Excellence Grants expanded to include induction fee support

• Increased number of ITF scholarships at several levels of support through the Doug Finney Festival Scholarship

• New rolling membership fee grants for schools with financial need

• More ITF financial assistance through the Send a Troupe Grant

• Three new Playbill Creator Scholarships to bring students to ITF

• Ongoing fundraising to support schools facing financial barriers"

In January we will find out about results for MainStage at ITF, at that point we can make more informed decisions. If we are selected for MainStage the plan is to make it happen no matter what. We will really hit fundraising hard in the spring. I'm sorry to have to bring you this news, please let me know if you have any questions.
